Maiden Lunaria WIP

Slowly working on this, and trying out a new style of shading: realism and NOT using dodge/burn like I had been so accustomed to doing. Playing with new techniques and it's kind of fun, lighting and shadows is a little frustrating- but nothing new there. Then there's water I'll have to play with and figure out how to do. I'll get it finished eventually, possibly soon.

Edit:
She's beautiful, but the more I work on this, the more it feels like I'm moving away from my attempt at realism. This image is turning out beautifully, and pretty much what I've been seeing mentally- but again, slightly frustrated with it. Perhaps I'm not meant to veer from the fantasy style.

Edit II:
I love the water and starting to branch out with more layers here, about 14 layers at the moment. Things are starting to piece together, slowly. A long ways to go, yet.

Edit III:
Nope, still not finished with this one! First good bit of work I've put into this since it was really first started. Really seems a bit ethereal, very mystical with the cool color combos I'm playing with. Play with the dress some more, and definitely work on the skin then I should be finished! I haven't a clue when I'll play with this again, can't believe this was started back in January lol!
